Sunward is excited to be one of the first credit unions in New Mexico to offer Buy Now, Pay Later to our members! Sunward Buy Now, Pay Later gives you more control by letting you split up purchases into monthly installments for a fixed fee. You can:

  • PLAN for purchases by getting funds upfront and paying the amount back in installments over time.
  • SPLIT eligible debit card purchases into installments that you can pay back over time. Once you select an installment plan for an eligible purchase, you’ll get the original purchase amount deposited back to your account within 24 hours.

How do I know if I have eligible debit card purchases for Sunward Buy Now, Pay Later?

You can find all of your eligible offers by logging into your account on the web or on the app and going to Transfer & Pay Bills > Sunward Buy Now, Pay Later.

No application or credit check required. Subject to membership eligibility requirements. An eligible purchase for Sunward Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) is a debit card point-of-sale purchase made in the past 60 days that is between $80-$2500 and was not a cash equivalent purchase (e.g., ATM withdrawal, money order, cash advance, etc.). Term is dependent on the amount financed and other factors. Other restrictions surrounding the merchant type and transaction limits may affect BNPL eligibility. An Annual Percentage Rate (APR) of 18% applies to all BNPL loans.
